Emmerdale's Alan Turner will face a real dilemma when his girlfriend asks him to go to Spain, leaving his daughter Steph behind.

Alan is devastated when his younger lover, Shelly, demands that he choose between the two women in his life.

Fans of the show will be on their edge of their seats wondering who Alan will pick.

"This has been a tough year for Alan and Shelly," an insider told the Daily Star.

"Who will Alan choose, his lover or his daughter?"

Shelly's had it in for Alan's daughter ever since Steph tried to kill her.
