David Walliams splits from supermodel wife Lara Stone

The couple separated less than two years after Lara gave birth to their son Alfred.

David Walliams and his wife, Calvin Klein model Lara Stone, has separated, it has been reported. The split, which came in less than two years after their son Alfred, is said to be 'devastating' for the Britain’s Got Talent judge.

The Sun has reported that Walliams agreed to a trial separation while Stone left their London home, along with their dog, Bert. It is thought that the pair have drifted apart in the last six months.

A source said: “David has been putting on a brave face. But people close to him are very worried because they know he’s devastated.”

The source added: “David hopes it is a blip and that they can get the marriage back on track somehow, especially seeing as there is a child involved. He is still fiercely protective of Lara.”

The couple got married in 2010 in a lavish London ceremony at Claridge’s hotel. Lara wore a £30,000 cream dress. They announced they were expecting their first child in November 2012 and welcomed Alfred on May 6th. The duo is yet to publicly comment on the issue.
