Danny's murderous threat

'Coronation Street' factory boss Danny Baldwin is to threaten to murder his girlfriend Leanne Battersby after she double-crosses him over his late father's will.

The cocky businessman will be left reeling after discovering Leanne has a copy of the revised will which his dad Mike made before his descent into Alzheimer's disease and then death.

In the legal document, Mike left his Underworld underwear factory to his youngest son Adam.

At first, Danny, actor Bradley Walsh, tries to buy Leanne's silence but after he dumps her over her deceit she gives the will to Danny's half-brother, played by actor Sam Robertson.

When Danny finds out what his ex has done, he telephones Leanne and threatens to "kill" her if he ever sees her again.

The scenes will trigger Leanne's exit from the soap because actress Jane Danson, who plays the scheming character, is leaving to have a baby.
