Shock exit leaves one celebrity stunned...

Dancing on Ice contestant Jennifer Metcalf is the latest star to leave the skating show, after finding herself in the bottom two.

The Hollyoaks star was an early favourite to win the competition and was so shocked at the decision, she could barely speak.

Despite their scores of 19 and 16 from the judges, Metcalf and rapper Vanilla Ice found themselves in the bottom two after the public vote.

Following an impressive skate off, the judges said that neither of the two should be facing elimination, however when the votes were cast, it was Vanilla Ice that the panel decided to save.

Becoming the seventh celebrity to leave the ITV1 reality programme, Metcalf then broke down in tears, saying about her skating partner, Sylvain Longchambon: “I can’t really speak. I just wanted to get further for him; he’s just put so much time into me.”

The show’s host, Philip Schofield was equally stunned by the decision, stating that he couldn’t “figure out what happened tonight”.

Dancing on Ice returns with a theatre theme on Sunday at 6:35pm on ITV1.
