The first two celebrity contestants have left the ITV1 reality television show, Dancing on Ice, as the new series kicked off last night.
Angela Rippon and Nadia Sawalha failed to impress the public and became the first casualties of the show's knock-out stages.
The special shows will see 16 contestants whittled down to 12 before the competition officially begins.
The pair took part in a skate-off with Nickelodeon presenter Laura Hamilton after they received the lowest number of votes.
As she was voted off, Angela, 66, said she felt she had "let everyone down" at home.
Nadia said that she was going to "miss everyone" and praised her skating partner:
"Mark Hanretty is the most beautiful skater and nobody saw how beautiful he is. Maybe next year."
The remaining eight celebrities hoping to make it into the competition will perform their first routines next weekend.
Catch Dancing on Ice Sunday 16 January at 6.35pm on ITV1.
