Corrie's Kelly's stalker terror

'Coronation Street' beauty Kelly Crabtree considers fleeing Weatherfield because she is being stalked.

Kelly, played by actress Tupele Dorgu, gets a fright when she bumps into Becky, a girl she knew when they were youngsters in care.

She tries to help Becky get settled in the area - but has no idea the girl has become completely obsessed with her.

As troubled Becky's infatuation grows, viewers will see her follow Kelly everywhere.

She starts waiting outside her home and workplace, and even follows her when she pops into the Rovers for a drink.

Kelly finally realises the girl is disturbed and would stop at nothing to take over her life, and is left wondering whether to leave Weatherfield.

An insider is quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "The plot is a real slow burner.

"The tension between the two girls builds and builds until explosion point. Kelly feels she just cannot shake Becky off. She also wonders just how far she is prepared to go to worm her way into her life."
