Fresh from her courtroom battle with Rita Corrie bosses have a new storyline for Cilla.

The Street's bad girl is set to feature in a prostitution plot, the Mirror has reported today.

The ginger monster, played by Wendi Peters, is set to bed an old client to pay back a 250 loan.

A source form the Street told paper: 'It's a groundbreaking story as prostitution has been a virtual taboo in the show's 43-year history.'

'But with all the other controversial subjects in the past few years - murder, rape, drug deals, a gay fling - it was felt Cilla's murky past was worth resurrecting,' they continued.

'Viewers won't actually see Cilla between the sheets but they will be left in no doubt what is going on.'

The source was tight lipped on why anyone would pay to sleep with her.
