British teenager stabbed in Turkey

Dwayne Ward, 17, was stabbed at least 12 times after he allegedly kissed a local girl.

British teenager Dwayne Ward is now in critical condition in a hospital in Turkey after he was stabbed at least 12 times on different parts of his body. He was attacked in a holiday resort of Marmaris, Turkey reportedly for kissing a local girl.

Based on the report, the British teenager has been drinking in the resort with his brother Darren, 32. In a police report published by The Sun, Dwayne told the police what happened after he and his brother got separated in the crowd. He said: "I was having fun while I was out and I kissed a Turkish girl at the bar I was in.

"I went to another bar and that was when they hit me in the head with a hard object. I don’t remember the rest."

Both the hospital staff and police confirmed that Dwayne had been stabbed at least a dozen times in different parts of his body. He was stabbed twice in the throat and several times in the chest – including a piercing of the heart.

Arrests have been made after CCTV footage reportedly showed two men following him and then grabbing him by his arms before he was dragged into an alley.
