Comedian Miranda Hart triumphed at the British Comedy Awards, picking up three awards including Best Female Comedy Actress.
Her BBC Two sitcom, Miranda, won Best New TV Comedy and Hart herself also bagged the People's Choice Award, which was voted for by the British public.
Miranda said she was "genuinely thrilled" by her success.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Jonathan Ross, was held at London's O2 Arena and was broadcast live on Channel 4 for the first time in its 20-year history.
Other winners included Michael McIntyre, who scooped the Best Male TV Comic award, Jo Brand won Best Female TV Comic and Best Sitcom was won by The Inbetweeners.
The British Comedy Lifetime Achievement Award went to the man behind Last of the Summer Wine, Open All Hours and Keeping Up Appearances, Roy Clarke.
Russell Brand won the Outstanding Contribution To Comedy award, but was unable to collect it in person.
