Reports suggest Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston will attend the Oscars together.

The former Hollywood couple are set to appear together at the ceremony to prove they have remained "committed and caring friends".

Nevertheless, the pair, who were involved in a public split earlier in the year, insist they are not getting back together.

A source told Sky Showbiz: "They see each other often and Jennifer has been staying at the marital home.

"Their romance might be over but they are still very close friends. They are even discussing going to the Oscars together.

"They realise that if they go with anyone else, it will cause a fuss so they're going as friends."

The pair were formerly the golden couple of Hollywood after getting married in July 2000.

But after five years together they eventually split.
