Beyoncé Knowles' father has denied he was sacked by his diva daughter after a reported bust-up over her backing dancers.

Manager Matthew Knowles has slammed rumours the Destiny's Child beauty fired him and his management team following a heated argument over his alleged sexist attitude to some of the female dancers on tour with her.

America's National Enquirer quoted a source as saying: "Beyoncé's had it with her dad. The relationship between Destiny's Child and their management has been strained for some time now.

"The final straw came during a conversation with one of her backing dancers who convinced her it was time to make a fresh start."

But Matthew's representative Marcus Harris insists: "I'm still in my office. We're cool all over."

A friend of the singer also revealed to America's New York Daily News newspaper that Beyoncé and her father "don't have the greatest relationship... but he's still working for her".
