2017 CES in Las Vegas, Nevada features promising new technology including baby tech innovations. These include Digisense, which monitors a baby’s nappy alerting parents through an app if it needs to be changed. It also monitors nourishment and hydration levels of the baby. The ultra compact sensors can also be used for caring for the elderly.
Another gadget is called Bloomlife, a pregnancy wearable technology that measures contractions by reading the electrical activity of uterine muscle. It helps pregnant women differentiate contractions from abdominal aches potentially saving them from unnecessary trips to the hospital when the labour is fully underway.
Remi is also featured at CES 2017. According to its makers, the first smart bedside clock trains your kids to sleep better at night. It is designed to track and record changes in sleep patterns by recording noises and temperatures inside the bedroom. It can be programmed to teach children when they should get up and go to sleep, helping them to establish a regular sleep routine.
Another one is called Kiddowear, the first fitness tracker for kids. It tracks their exercise, diet, and health keeping them healthy.
