Andy gets a nasty surprise in tonight's episode of Emmerdale, when he is stopped by police and breathalysed after driving from the pub.

Although he knows he has only drunk one pint, Andy is shocked to discover that he very nearly fails the breathalyser test.

He suspects that someone has alerted the police, but cannot understand the breathalyser result.

Little does he know that Jimmy paid Andy's brother Robert to spike his drink in the pub, and it's no surprise that it was Robert who called the police as well.

The brotherly relationship has never really recovered after Robert started sleeping with Andy's fiancee Katie, and tonight's episode shows signs that the feud is escalating.

Meanwhile things are heating up between Bob and Avril, to the horror of Bob's ex-wife Viv. It's difficult to know whether Viv still has feelings for her old flame, or whether she's just jealous and lonely.
