Alba's 'swipe' at Katie Holmes

Jessica Alba says she could never date a famous actor - the way Katie Holmes has done.

When quizzed on Katie's high profile romance with Tom Cruise at the London premiere party of new movie 'Fantastic Four', on Monday night (18.07.05), she sniped: "I don't date actors and I don't date people to get ahead in my career."

Alba, 24, also revealed she was stunned by the way both Cruise and Holmes have flaunted their relationship so publicly.

The beautiful star, who is dating director's assistant Cash Warren, also slammed Cruise for revealing secrets about his romance during the promotional tour for sci-fi movie 'War of the Worlds'.

She is quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "I don't want to comment on Tom's relationship with Katie... but I'm a private person and I don't feel you should talk about your private life.

"I think it's best to keep this sort of thing to yourself."
