24 coming to London

Action show '24' is reportedly set to be filmed in London next year.

Show bosses want government agent Jack Bauer - who is played by heartthrob actor Kiefer Sutherland - to fight British terrorists next season.

It's thought fans will see the crime-fighting operative, who normally works out of the Counter Terrorist Unit in Los Angeles, trying to catch radicals in the British capital.

Most of the show's 24 episodes will still be shot in the US.

Producers have long been toying with bringing the real time drama - which is now in its fifth series - to the UK.

Executive producer Howard Gordon is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "We flirted with going to London last year for six episodes."

He added: "It's something I'd love to try next year."

The current series of '24' is being screened on Sky One on Sunday nights.
