A plane has crashed in Alaska tragically killing all 10 people on board. National Transportation Safety Board investigator Clint Johnson confirmed the news saying that the passengers and the pilot were killed at Soldotna Airport on Sunday morning.
He also said that initial reports indicate that the plane crashed during take-off.
Meanwhile, Meagan Peters of Alaska State Troopers said that the single-engine air taxi was engulfed in flames before fire fighters were able to get to the plane. As of time of writing, victims are yet to be identified.
Alaska State Troopers confirmed that the plane was chartered as an air taxi at the time of the crash.
Several plane crashes has been reported in Alaska this year, which includes the plane crash on June 28th where two passengers and a pilot were killed on a commercial tour in the Alaska Range.
