"Bridget Jones" star Renee Zellweger has been given permission to drop the pounds after finishing filming.
The skinny star of "Chicago" has twice had to intentionally overeat to play the stumbling singleton that is Bridget Jones.
For the first film she said she stayed in a flat in London pigging out on pizza and Guinness while watching EastEnders so that she could bulk up.
And now that the second film in the series, "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason", is finished she can slim down again.
Zellweger gained around two stone to step back into Bridget's shoes - and was told that she had to keep it on until the producers were sure that they would not need to film any more scenes.
A source has told TeenHollywood: "Renee is thrilled that she can stop gorging on fatty food. She's started eating healthily again and is working with two personal trainers in a bid to lose the excess weight.
"She liked having curves, but she is looking forward to being slim again."
