Glenn Ward has become the latest contestant to be fired by Lord Sugar, after his team failed in the magazine task.
This week, Sugar challenged the teams to create their own freesheet magazines then sell advertising space to potential major clients in order to make a profit.
Ward's Team Venture, project managed by Jim Eastwood, created a magazine for the over 60s called Hip Replacement, while Natasha Scribbin's Team Logic opted for a lads' mag, entitled Covered.
Logic's efforts prevailed, with the team winning the task by securing a £60,000 exclusivity deal.
Jim brought Glenn and Susan Ma back into the boardroom with him, but it was Ward that ultimately got the boot, after Sugar declared that he didn't have a head for business.
Lord Sugar concluded by saying:
"Glenn, I'm not convinced that a leopard is ever going to change his spots and that an engineer is going to have the right ideas to come into business with me.
"So with regret, Glenn; you're fired!"
However, Eastwood didn't escape unscathed, as he was blasted by Sugar's aides Nick Hewer and Karren Brady as being "passive aggressive" and "covering his a**e".
In the black taxi home, Ward said:
"It's not the ending I wanted. He just doesn't want to work with an engineer.
"I honestly don't know why. I didn't fail at one thing."
The Apprentice continues Wednesday nights at 9pm on BBC One.
