X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is to visit earthquake-stricken Haiti.
The singer, who stars on the Helping Haiti single, is to fly to the country, which has seen hundreds of thousands of victims dead after disaster struck at the start of the year.
Burke was quick to join the string of stars for the charity cover of REM's 1992 classic 'Everybody Hurts', but wanted to do more.
The 'Broken Heels' singer said: "When The Sun asked if I would go to see things for myself, I didn't hesitate.
"If I can raise awareness about how much support is needed then I'm there in a heartbeat."
However the popstar was nervous about the realities of the horrors over in the Caribbean Islands where the 7.0-magnitude quake has caused complete devastation.
"I don't think that anyone can prepare for what it'll be like but I will try to be strong," she said.
"Watching the news was like a disaster film but this was real."
Burke joins a lineup of over 21 music stars, including Take That, Kylie Minogue, Rod Stewart, Cheryl Cole and Mariah Carey on the fundraiser single.
She is the latest celebrity to pledge support to the relief efforts in Haiti.
John Travolta personally flew out medical supplies and humanitarian support to the ravaged country.
Meanwhile, actress Jennifer Aniston gave $500,000, and couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie handed over $1 million.
