Bruce Willis has signed up to play the father of drug dealer Jesse James Hollywood in the film Alpha Dog.
Hollywood, to be played by relative unknown Emile Hirsch, is a notorious villain who became one of the youngest men ever on the FBI's most wanted list.
He is accused of the kidnap and murder of a 15-year-old boy, his accomplices have been arrested but - four years after the crime - he is still at large with a reward on his head.
Alpha Dog is due out in 2005 and already has a stellar cast. Sharon Stone, Justin Timberlake and Kevin Costner are names linked to the project along with Willis.
