Endemol, the production company behind hit Channel Four show, Big Brother, has vowed to move on after the chaotic events of last Wednesday.
The future of the show seemed in doubt after Channel Four was forced to cut the live feed and send security guards into the house to stop some of the contestants coming to blows.
In a joint statement issued this afternoon Endemol, Channel Four and Hertfordshire Constabulary said they would be working together to ensure that there was no repeat of last week's incident.
"Hertfordshire Constabulary are happy with the steps that Channel Four and Endemol have taken since Wednesday night to guarantee the safety of the housemates," the statement said.
The trouble centred on separate rows between Emma and Victor, and Jason and Marco - both of which threatened to descend into rather mismatched brawls.
Emma is now on her own back in the bed sit, where she spent the first half of last week with Michelle watching the other housemates. She has also been issued with a formal warning along with half a dozen others.
