Nicole Kidman has become the latest celebrity to join the prestigious Who's Who list.
The Oscar-winning beauty, who won the Academy Award in 2002 for her role as Virginia Woolf in 'The Hours', has been recognised as one of the 1,000 "influential and noteworthy" new entrants in the 2005 publication.
According to the list's publishers, A & C Black, Nicole's inclusion shows a shift in power towards celebrities.
Editor Jonathan Glasspool said: "The range of people in Who's Who has become even broader this year.
"This reflects the trend away from an aristocratic background to a rather more meritocratic selection."
Other stars to be included in this year's addition include Hollywood actress Kristin Scott Thomas, guitarist Eric Clapton and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.
