Have you been abducted by aliens? Struggling to find people who will believe you? You're not alone. In fact, there's now even an official support group for abductees in Britain.
AMMACH (The Anomalous Mind Management, Abductee, Contactee Helpline) has been launched by Hastings-based Joanne Summerscales as a way for people who have had extra-terrestrial experiences to be given a platform to speak their mind.
Summerscales was quoted in The Telegraph: “We aim to provide a safe platform for them to tell their stories without ridicule and fear.
“I do not believe everything I hear but if something strange happened to us we would want to have the ability to tell someone about it without fear.”
She launched the concept AMMACH three years ago and has since been contacted by 1,500 people who have been in contact with alien beings.
Now, AMMACH is more powerful than ever before with more than a 1,000 'contactees' gathering together for a full on support group meeting in Hastings at the end of May.
Summerscales went on: “Why aren’t the military reacting? People quote figures such as 1% to 3% of the population having had such experiences - that’s millions of people.”
Nigel Watson, author of Nigel Watson, author of The Haynes UFO Investigations Manual, was quoted by Yahoo: “Abductees and contactees report literally out-of-this-world stories that can be complex, frightening, life-enhancing or downright ridiculous. If they speak about their experiences, they are made fun of by the media, or even by friends and family. So it does make sense for them to have support groups that understand what they are going through.”
So next time you see E.T. phone home, be sure to pick up the phone yourself and call The Anomalous Mind Management, Abductee, Contactee Helpline.
