London-based lawyer Robin Jacobs, 31, got more than he bargained for when he bought a Milkybar to eat while watching the recent World Cup final. As he was about to take a bite out the white chocolate snack, he realised that what appeared to a 'giant phallus' was shaped onto the bar.
The Milkybar snack commonly has a picture printed onto the bar itself, but Jacobs believes that a printing area turned an innocent horse's head into something else.
He was quoted by Metro: "What on earth is a penis doing on a kids’ chocolate bar? There’s no point denying what it looks like. It is obvious – we can all see it.
"I’m normally a Cadbury man but I decided to give the Milkybar a go and look what happened.
"It’s a completely inappropriate picture. The penis in question is even bigger than the child – surely the people making the bar can see what it looks like.
"I still ate it but I was a little put off. I don’t understand why it is there."
Responding to the claims, a spokesperson for Nestlé said: "Nestlé is surprised and sorry to hear that Mr Jacobs thought the picture on the Milkybar resembles male genitalia, it is in fact an image of a horse’s head, the Milkybar Kid’s horse.
"There was no intention to mislead or depict anything offensive on our product and we apologise for any confusion or embarrassment this may have caused."
