WEIRD NEWS OF THE WEEK: Busted! Three-breasted woman exposed as a fake

Jasmine Tridevil lost a bag at Tampa International Airport and listed a $5,000 '3 breast prosthesis' as one of its contents in the police report.

A woman, who call herself has Jasmine Tridevil and who has previously claimed that she had undergone plastic surgery to add a third breast, has been exposed as a fake who wore a prosthetic. 

 

According to Florida TV station 10 News, she lost a bag at Tampa International Airport and listed a $5,000 “3 breast prosthesis” as one of its content. Cops eventually tracked down the thieves and returned Tridevil's (real name Alisha Hessler) black nylon bag after making an official inventory. 

 

Hessler’s story began to fall apart when an internet-rumour site connected her to a (regular chested) message therapist in Tampa, Florida. The website, Snopes, found that the website JasmineTridevil.com is registed to a person named Alisha Hessler. It also noted that Tridevil bares a striking resemblance to a Tampa masseuse named Alisha Jasmine Hessler. 

 

Neighbors said they hardly saw Hessler. 'She keeps very odd hours,' said one neighbor. 'You'd see her coming in at 6am when I'd be leaving to drive to work. She seemed nice enough but I don't believe her getting another breast. I just saw it on the news and it's fake. She just wants to make a name for herself.'

 

Of the distinctive body features that appear to have been modelled on a cult supporting character in the Arnold Schwarzenegger film Total Recall, New York-based plastic surgeon Dr. Matthew Schulman told the Daily News "I'm not buying it.

 

“There are procedures to create a breast — we do it all the time after operations for breast cancer. The problem is, as I look at her pictures, that's not the type of results I would expect if the procedure was done.”

However, she has insisted that it is real and even revealed that she recorded a reality TV show around the procedure. "I figured people would be skeptical, but it's true. I recorded the surgery and it will be on my show," said Tridevil.
