American tourist Bobby Ray Carter, 51, died of two stab wounds in the chest while his son Adam, 27, was stabbed on his arm after a fight broke involving three members of the house band from the Longhorn Saloon at Ao Nang beach in Krabi, Thailand.
Based on police reports, Carter and his son got into a verbal argument with the band members when he refused to stop singing despite the musicians taking a break.
Lieutenant Colonel Attapong Seanjaiwuth of Krabi tourist police added: "He then demanded the money he had already given as a tip back. But the real fight broke out outside of that pub. He was stabbed twice and died while on the way to local hospital."
The three suspects, Sathit Somsa, 40, Ratikorn Romin, 27, and Noppanant Yoddecha, 26, were brought to the police station and were questioned in connection with the murder.
