New, previously never-before-seen footage of The Beatles, that was shot during their sixties heyday, is now being shown at The Arena Hotel at thespace.org. according to reports.
October 5th, 2012, marks the 50th anniversary of the release of The Beatle’s first ever single “Love Me Do”. To commemorate the special event the documentary film entitled Arena: The Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour will be shown on Saturday.
Allegedly shot while the group was heading to the final destination of their Magical Mystery Tour in Newquay, the short film is understood to show the group going to a classic British fish and chip shop after taking a coach trip.
Anthony Wall, editor of BBC arts series Arena, said: “Few people have seen Magical Mystery Tour in its entirety and the material in the chip shop has never been shown anywhere.
“It captures perfectly the fabulous world of The Beatles at this time. They’re happily rubbing shoulders and sharing a simple meal with the other passengers on the coach, and at the same time creating an extraordinarily avant garde film.”
