Uma's excruciating break-up

Uma Thurman broke down as she spoke for the first time about her "excruciating" divorce to actor Ethan Hawke.

The 'Kill Bill' actress said the breakdown of her five year marriage to Hawke left her devastated.

The blonde star - who has a daughter Maya, seven, and three-year-old son, Levon with Hawke - blames returning to work after having children for piling pressure on their marriage.

She told American chat show host Oprah Winfrey: "It's excruciating. There are so many hurt feelings."

The pair divorced in August this year after Hawke allegedly cheated on her with a waitress.

Thurman admitted she was hurt by the split, adding: "There's a lot of unfinished business. I recently thought I'd never feel better."

Earlier this year, Uma confessed she still loved her ex.

The beautiful star was quoted as saying: "I love the man still and I'll always love him."
