Turn your kids into household superheroes!

We all know how hard it can be trying to manage the household, from getting the kids to school, to preparing dinner, not to mention all of the washing and cleaning.

And now there's the pressure of trying to make sure everything we do is environmentally friendly, which can lead to family disputes.

It's also been one of the coldest, wettest winters in living memory and research has found that this has caused a surge of arguments throughout the UK, with the household temperatures proving to be one of the key catalysts.

However, despite the temptation to turn up the thermostat, research by energy provider npower has shown that 21C is the ideal temperature for the home to avoid destructive.

As well as knowing what temperature is best to keep the peace, there are ways to involve the whole family to make life that bit easier.

In the following video, parenting expert Lorraine Thomas guides you through the tips to get your kids involved in the house work by making the chores seem fun.

Getting the little ones to help will not only make them feel like they are contributing to the family home but will improve their confidence too.
