A group of college friends who ran up the famous ‘Rocky steps’ while visiting Philadelphia were stunned to find Sylvester Stallone at the top. The actor, whose training montage as the boxer Rocky Balboa became a signature scene in movie history, agreed to pose for a selfie with the lucky lads.
Peter Rowe said that he just finishing racing up the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Saturday together with two of his college friends, Jacob Kerstand and Andrew Wright.
Speaking on Tuesday, Rowe said: "He said to us,`Man, you guys are fast. You're making me look bad!"'
Pete’s father proudly told the story on Facebook on Sunday.
"True story that just happened yesterday!
"Son Pete has two college friends in from California and is showing them around.
"Yesterday he took them into Philly. After all the cheesesteaks and sighsteeing, Pete said before we leave town we've got to run up the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps, just like Rocky.
"They did, and when they got to the top someone said 'you guys got up here pretty fast, You're making me look bad!'
"And it was Sylvester Stallone himself walking around with some of his family.
"The guys said he was very nice and they got this picture with him."
