Tornadoes have struck Oklahoma in America, with at least one person being killed as of time of writing, according to reports, with many others injured.
There were also other areas in America where Twisters have been reported, including Minnesota and Kansas.
One area which was hit hard was near to the town of Shawnee. This American town is situated over 30 miles from the city of Oklahoma.
It is believed that a park for mobile homes was badly hit by one of the tornado’s that reached the ground at the weekend.
Governor Mary Fallin stated there was a state of emergency for 16 counties of Oklahoma.
It is understood that at least four tornadoes struck Oklahoma on Sunday, 20th May. This came as part of a band of storms shifting across US states.
The National Weather Service previously said: "You could be killed if not underground or in a tornado shelter. Complete destruction of neighbourhoods, businesses and vehicles will occur. Flying debris will be deadly to people and animals."
A tornado, which is shaped like a funnel, is often referred to as a twister. They can be extremely destructive and deadly, and can transport debris and objects from one place to another.
