Tori Spelling invited three dead people to her wedding.

The actress and her fiancé Dean McDermott tied the knot on the Fijian island of Wakaya and instead of asking friends and family, invited three "angels".

Tori told Britain's OK! magazine: "We performed a Fijian ritual of honouring the three angels who brought us together."

Dean added: "I invited my deceased parents Doreen and David. I know for a fact that my mom and dad brought Tori into my life."

Tori also wrote an invitation to her childhood nanny Margaret Lockett, who died in 2004.

Once the invitations were ready, they were burnt in a fire.

She said: "I dashed to the water's edge and tossed my bouquet high into the sky and thanked our angels for bringing us together."
