Tom Hanks accidentally dropped the F-bomb during the live broadcast of “Good Morning America” when he was imitating the English accent of the character he was playing in his new move “Cloud Atlas.”
The visibly shocked actor quickly apologized. Good Morning America host Elizabeth Vargas also apologized to the viewers. Nervously, she said: “We are SO sorry, ‘Good Morning America. ‘
Hanks, on the other hand, looked extremely embarrassed. Obviously looking for the right words, he said: “I have never done that before. .. slipped into a brand of acting there ... I would apologize to the kids of America.”
Vargas was then happy to move on but Hank continued saying: “It was a little incomprehensible.”
“Man, oh man ... never give me a handheld mic. I blame the staff.” He also said, “GMA” would continue with a seven second delay.”
His movie “Cloud Atlas,” which is rated R, opens in theaters on October 26.
