A new study has revealed that women see their shoes more than just something they wear to match their outfits. Based on the poll that was participated by 1,000 women ages 35 – 44, 20per cent of them are more aroused by new shoes than by their significant others.
Meanwhile more than 50per cent has admitted to judging someone based on their shoes.
In addition, 25per cent say that it doesn’t matter how painful it may be to wear their good looking shoes, they are unwilling to take their heels off (they’d rather take a pain reliever!) for the sake of comfort.
33per cent said that they buy four to seven pairs of shoes annually.
Lastly, more than 50per cent said that they are willing to lie about what they really paid for their shoes.
Proving the importance of shoes to women, Sex and the City lead character Carrie Bradshaw once said: “Men I may not know, but shoes, shoes, I know.”
Meanwhile, Marilyn Monroe echoed the same sentiment when she said: “Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.”
