A seemingly innocent photo which shows a happy family having time swimming in a creek was apparently photobombed by a the ghost of little girl who drowned in 1915, as confirmed by paranormal experts.
The face is eerily luminescent and has two dark “eye holes.” While some observes say that the little girl had two little horns, others argued that they were two little hair buns.
The picture was posted by Kim Davison from Queensland, Australia. She said that the image was taken at Lockyer Creek in southeast Brisbane.
She wrote: "There was only three children there on that day.
"We have had two IT specialists look at this photo.
"At the time of taking this photo there was nothing between us."
Following the Facebook post, supernatural experts did their research and found an newspaper entry revealing that a 13-year-old girl named Doreen O’Sullivan drowned there.
It states: "Doreen O’Sullivan, aged 13 years, eldest daughter of Mr. James O'Sullivan' was accidentally drowned whilst bathing in the Lockyer Creek on Friday afternoon.
"Nearly an hour elapsed, before the body was recovered. The spot, which has always been considered dangerous, is known as Murphy's Hole, and is over 20ft deep.
"The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon, and was largely attended, the convent school children, dressed in white, marching next to the hearse."
