Every November for the past 8 years, millions of innocent smoothie bottles have donned little woolly hats to raise money for The Big Knit, and help keep older people warm in winter with Age UK.
And this November the hats are back - and theyÂ’re more A-list than ever before.
Celebrities and designers up and down the land have been channelling their inner milliner to create specially designed little woolly hats to help raise money for The Big Knit.
So, keep your eyes peeled for hats designed by pop stars, models, designers and even a molecular gastronomic chef on our smoothie bottles in SainsburyÂ’s and Boots this November.
For every behatted bottle sold, innocent will donate 25p to Age UK.
Since 2002, knitters across the land have knitted their socks off in aid of the annual Big Knit campaign.
To date, innocent have popped hats on 2.5million smoothies and raised over £850,000 for Age UK (formerly Age Concern and Help the Aged) – all to help older people stay warm in winter by providing information, advice and grants on issues like heating, health and hot meals.
This yearÂ’s Big Knit takes place from 2-29 November. Big Knit smoothies can be found in Boots and SainsburyÂ’s, and for every behatted bottle sold, 25p will go to Age UK.
