A mobile phone company is asking for job seekers to apply for a position via text message.
Teimlo, a mobile content provider based in Cardiff, is advertising a marketing job and insists candidates apply in a 160 character text.
Applicants must demonstrate they have a direct writing ability when explaining in the word limit why they are the right person for the job in the constraints of the word limit.
Chief executive Phil Terrett told said: "Applicants are going to have to be creative and to the point - these are the qualities we are looking for.
"If their text says: 'Dear sir, I would like to apply for the position of...' they are going to run out of space. They have to be a lot more savvy to fit something in that's going to make a genuine impression.
"What we want is fanatics at what we do, people who will fit in and understand the subject. It's the attitude that matters."
Teimlo, which provides mobile phone marketing for businesses, charities and individuals, are looking for applicants who are "sassy, good with words, have working knowledge of mobile and social media and be a determined multi-tasker and networker."
Successful applicants will then be put through a number of other stages to prove they are the right person for the job.
