Mutya Buena has denied claims that the original Sugababes line-up are recording new material together.
The first line-up of the girl group, which comprises of Mutya, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy, were reported to have reformed and begun to record new material together.
It was claimed that the three original members have a plan to release the new songs under a new name with a relaunch later this year.
Buchanan added fuel to the rumours by mysteriously tweeting:
"Hanging out in the studio with @professorgreen and two lovely ladies with bags of talent."
With Buena adding:
"Tunnnnnnnnne! What a banger. I could pee myself with excitment lol but I won't. (sic)"
However, Buena has since tweeted that she has no plans to record with her former bandmates and is now concentrating on new solo material:
"No track [with] keisha or professor G he was around tha studio. im jus workin on my stuff @ tha moment. (sic)"
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Buchanan told entertainment website Digital Spy:
"Keisha has been working on a number of exciting projects both old and new.
"She is in the final stages of completing her much-awaited solo album and believes her fans will be equally excited with what's to come."
