Olympics host Sue Barker and comedian Neil Morrissey have reportedly signed up to star in a new series of Celebrity Fame Academy.

The last series was lit up by unspeakably entertaining - if not always note perfect - performances from contestants including interviewer Ruby Wax, Doon Mackichan and Ulrika Jonsson.

Morrissey and Barker, along with newsreader Huw Edwards, are already signed up for the new series - according to The People newspaper.

The celebrities most likely to join them are Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker, Weakest Link host Anne Robinson and EastEnders star Michelle Ryan, the paper adds.

The BBC will run the series for a second time to raise money for Comic Relief, it is set to begin in March 2005.
