According to a recent poll, Beyoncé is the number one fantasy travel partner.

In a recent survey compiled by holiday comparison site Icelolly, it has emerged that Britons have chosen Beyoncé as their most desirable fantasy travel partner.

The singer and sex symbol, who got 22per cent of the votes, beat out other popstars including Rihanna (15 per cent), Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (12 per cent) and Lady Gaga (five per cent).

On the other hand, Justin Bieber was named as the worse celebrity travel partner. This is perhaps because of his recent restaurant bust-up with Orlando Bloom and his numerous brushes with the law. Or perhaps those polled just didn’t get his music. Either way, the Baby singer got 37per cent votes on this category. Other celebrities who made it to the unflattering list include Katie Price, Piers Morgan and Miley Cyrus.

Suniel Makh, Brand Director at Icelolly, said: 'Celebrities obviously lead a very lavish lifestyle which we all dream of emulating whilst on holiday – attempting to escape reality in the pursuit of relaxation and that all-important star treatment.

'However, it seems money isn't always everything and Brits still very much value the experience and memories that a decent travel partner can provide.

'And let's face it…a break away with Bieber could very well result in trouble and unnecessary stress!'
