'Lost Boys' actor Corey Haim died of natural causes, toxicology results have revealed.
It was initially speculated that the troubled actor, who passed away at the age of 38, died from an overdose of prescription drugs.
According to post-mortem tests, the actor died of pneumonia combined with respiratory and heart problems, and "no significant contributing factors," the LA coroners office stated.
The actor had struggled with drug addiction throughout his career, with authorities revealing he had obtained more than 550 prescription pills from an array of doctors and pharmacies in the weeks leading up to his death on March 10.
Haim became a screen icon of the 1980s, thanks largely to his star-making performance in the 1987 Joel Schumacher vampire hit 'The Lost Boys', 'Silver Bullet' and 'Lucas' in which he appeared alongside Charlie Sheen and Winona Ryder.
His fellow 'Lost Boys' star Corey Feldman collaborated with him on a reality television show 'The Two Coreys', which lasted for two seasons.
