Star gets 'Norman' tattoo

Jennifer Aniston has revealed her first tattoo - a tribute to her dog Norman who died last month.

The former Friends star was famously fond of her canine companion and has now decided to honour his memory permanently with a tattoo of his name on her foot.

Aniston debuted her new etching while appearing on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart over in the States, showing it off in towering peep-toe Louboutins.

The 42-year-old has previously said of her pet:

"The most unconditional form of love that you can encounter is with a dog.

"They're excited the minute you come home, and they show the same amount of excitement every day.

"They're loyal, and they're always, always faithful."

The star's tattoo has also sparked rumours that she might have been influenced to get it by her new boyfriend, 39-year-old Justin Theroux, who is heavily tattooed himself.

Welsh corgi-terrier cross Norman passed away in May at the age of 15.

The pair were regularly pictured attending photo shoots, walking on the beach and going on holiday together.
