Orlaiths secret challenge to spread the love in the Big Brother house on Sunday has got off to a disastrous start with her fellow contestants convinced she is up to something shifty.
Big Brother challenged the Irish model to make a romantic gesture to the housemate nearest to her every time a secret "love buzzer" attached to her goes off. If Big Brother decides she has been successful in creating a warm and fuzzy feeling in the house, the group will be treated to a special high tea.
But the saying "all you need is love" hasnt quite proved true in the Big Brother house, where Orlaith soon discovered that secrecy and cunning are also needed to ensure the task is won.
There wasnt much love lost between her and Makosi when within minutes of starting her secret mission, Orlaith was confronted by the nurse after she felt her concealed love buzzer vibrating.
"Something's vibrating on you!" screeched Makosi, as Orlaith sat next to her, unconvincingly trying to protest that Big Brother must have bugged her as she rushed off to the diary room. Makosi, delighted at exposing the model, danced around the kitchen table, laughing, "I found her out!"
When a sheepish looking Orlaith returned to face the suspicious group, she fibbed that Big Brother had given her a pager because she had been feeling down and thinking about leaving, prompting a false show of affection from her housemates.
But whether Orlaith will succeed in cosying up to the group now remains to be seen, after the housemates all agreed she was still up to something when she was safely out of earshot. "Of course she is! Wake up and smell the coffee!" snorted Derek in a less than affectionate tone.
