Skyfall, which stars Daniel Craig, breaks box office records as it crosses £100million mark two months after it was first released in cinemas.
The 23rd installment of the Bond franchise is now considered the most successful UK release in history. It has overtaken the movie Avatar, which amassed £94million over the course of its 11 months release in UK cinemas.
Skyfall was first released on October 26th in more than 500 cinemas across the UK and Ireland. According to records, the movie has generated more than £1billion in ticket sales worldwide.
Skyfall, which was directed by Sam Mendes, is from Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment. It was written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade and John Logan.
