Sky's newsreaders are all to receive a makeover before the channel switches over to high definition.
According to The Sun, presenters such as Eamonn Holmes and Kay Burley are to be given the full treatment as the news channel prepared for the switchover next spring.
A source told the paper: "The new technology means every wrinkle and pimple will be visible. Everybody is worried, from anchors in the studio to reporters on the ground.
"But they've all been promised they'll get any help they need. After all we want them to look good too. New make-up techniques are one thing and help with colours and hair is another."
HD cameras are four times clearer than standard TV.
Sky News HD will be the first UK news channel to broadcast in high definition. It will broadcast alongside the existing Sky News channel.
