Simpson to star in Baywatch

Jessica Simpson is set to star in the movie remake of 'Baywatch'.

The actress will play a lifeguard in the big screen version of the hit 90s TV show, which turned Pamela Anderson into a star.

A source is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Jessica really caught the eye in 'The Dukes of Hazzard' last summer.

"She was the unanimous choice for the 'Baywatch' role.

"She has all the assets to make the part her own."

Jessica won't have any problem flaunting her curves in one of the film's red swimsuits - because she is proud of her figure.

The 'Newlyweds' star - who recently split from husband Nick Lachey after three years of marriage - said: "I have amazing breasts. They're just perfect."
