Simon Cowell has featured on a list of the 100 most influential people in the world, according to a survey published by Time magazine.

Simon Cowell has featured on a list of the 100 most influential people in the world, according to a survey published by Time magazine.

A total of 10 Brits are on the list including sporting stars David Beckham and Paula Radcliffe, as well as JK Rowling, TV producer Mark Burnett, and National Theatre director Nicholas Hytner.

Yet there is no sign of Tony Blair, despite political figures including George Bush, Vladimir Putin, and Osama bin Laden making the cut.

The annual list is produced by the US magazine based on the ability to influence lives for better or worse. This year's list comprises of 84 men and 22 women.
