Shots fired from a vehicle passing Vice President Joe Biden's home

The Secret Service has said that multiple shots were fired outside the Delaware home of Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday.

Multiple shots were fired from a vehicle on public road just outside the Delaware home of Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday night. The Secret Service said that the incident happened at about 8.25pm.

A vehicle was seen fleeing the scene right after the shooting.

The Vice President and his wife, who were informed about the incident, were not at their Greenville residence at the time.

The Secret Service, which cooperates with New Castle County Police, is now investigating the incident.

The Biden family regularly spends the weekends at their Delaware home and commute back to Washington for the working week.
