More and more husbands are now paying more attention to Mother’s Day. Aside from picking up gift for their mums, they also make sure they give something to their wife.

If this is the first time that you’re doing this, here are some of the things that you simply CANNOT give her for Mother’s Day:

Kitchen appliance

Men, get this: Women do not appreciate receiving a blender or a new microwave on Mother’s Day. Why? It’s like you’re telling them that the right place for them is the kitchen.

On special occasions such as Mother’s day, your wife would want to feel important, valued, and appreciated. Instead of getting her a kitchen appliance, a bouquet of roses or a food that she doesn’t have to cook will be a lot better.

Something for the kids

Most men will give gifts that are actually for the children. Giving your wife toys on Mother’s day will not make her happy. Sure, she will appreciate your effort, but it will not make her feel special.

Thoughtless gifts

As they say, it’s the thought that counts. So, before you buy something for your wife, think long and hard to figure out what kind of gift will put a smile on her face.

Some women appreciate a day off when they can have their mani and pedi all by themselves, while others would appreciate a day at a hotel just relaxing and watching TV.
