Just a week after the release of iPhone 6, Apple has been hailed the coolest brand in Britain for the third year running.
The survey, which was conducted by CoolBrands, proved that despite having some fans protesting against Apple’s tie-up with “dad rockers” U2 for the free iTunes-exclusive release of their new album, Apple’s reputation for style did not go down the drain.
The poll was participated by 2,000 consumers and a panel of 37 “key influencers” including Sophie Dahl, Jodie Kidd, and fashion designer Julien MacDonald.
Stephen Cheliotis, the spokesman for CoolBrands, said: “Apple continues to dominate the listing and remains untouchable for now.”
Twitter, on the other hand, was not included in the list for the first time in four years. Meanwhile, streaming service Netflix made it to the top 20 for the first time.
Other brands that made it to the top 20 include Aston Martin, Glastonbury and Nike.
